Week 3 matchup preview
October 12–18 · Six matchups, six storylines, and one undefeated record guaranteed to take damage.
Armothy's Revenge (2–0)vsJohn's Shitty Team (2–0)
Battle of the Unbeatens. Both teams are 2–0, but that's where the similarity ends. Armothy's Revenge has the league's highest point total (424.55); John's Shitty Team has the third-fewest (318.00), and both wins are officially classified as lucky. Something has to give: dominance or dumb luck.
balls and wieners (1–1)vsJohns Brother's Team (1–1)
balls and wieners is coming off the week's high score (240.40, best of the season); Johns Brother's Team authored the comeback of the week with a 75.25-point Saturday. Two teams at peak confidence colliding.
Don't B a Drag Just B a Queen (0–2)vsJew Tang Clan (1–1)
Don't B a Drag Just B a Queen is 0–2 but posted the 7th-best Week 2 score and is outscoring three teams with winning records—the record lies. Jew Tang Clan sits 3rd in points for (414.55) and looks like a contender. Trap game potential.
Father of Minnesota Twins (1–1)vsSkeem (1–1)
Father of Minnesota Twins owns the league's best defense corps and sits 5th in points; Skeem has the second-fewest points (294.70) and got boat-raced 240.40–124.05 last week. Mismatch on paper, but paper burns.
Noob Noob (1–1)vsTrinidad and Tobago (1–1)
Mid-table scrap between two teams still figuring out what they are. Trinidad and Tobago nearly stole Week 2; Noob Noob got handled by the champs.
Porkchop Sandwiches (1–1)vsWyld Stallyns (0–2)
Porkchop Sandwiches is 4th in points (393.25) and lost Week 2 with the 5th-best score—the week's unlucky result. Wyld Stallyns is 0–2 with the fewest points in the league (273.50). The biggest on-paper mismatch of the week.

Waiver wire report
What the league spent, what the claims actually produced, and who has been living on the transactions page.
Skeem got 1.25 post-add points. Victor Olofsson cost $10 for 0.00; Stuart Skinner cost $7 for 0.00.
Power cost Trinidad and Tobago $1; Lee cost Porkchop Sandwiches $0. Both played active and share the top spot.
balls and wieners added Podkolzin for $0 on September 28, before Week 1. Only post-add games count.
The transaction desk
Every claim gets a receipt. Some get entered into evidence.
Week 2
- Skeem spent $35 and turned the Samuelsson–Olofsson portion of the cart into 1.25 points: Mattias Samuelsson cost $20 for 1.25, while Victor Olofsson cost $10 to watch 0.00 from the bench. Luxury pricing, outlet production.
- Trinidad and Tobago paid $1 for Owen Power's 9.50 active points, while Porkchop Sandwiches found the same 9.50 from Anders Lee for $0. Apparently points were available; they were simply not located in Skeem's aisle.
- Trinidad and Tobago also spent $7 on Stuart Skinner for 0.00, and Armothy's Revenge stashed Troy Terry on IR for $0. One was an investment; the other was at least priced honestly.
Week 1
- Skeem claimed Tyler Bertuzzi on Wednesday and dropped him Friday—a two-day rental, a mayfly of a transaction.
- Armothy's Revenge spent $8 churning: Mikael Granlund for $2, JJ Peterka for $3, and Cole Perfetti for $3, with Valeri Nichushkin dropped to make room. Rich teams can afford expensive hobbies.
- Jew Tang Clan paid $4 for Jacob Trouba after Wyld Stallyns dropped Trouba. One team's trash became another team's four-dollar defenseman.
- Jew Tang Clan dropped Mattias Samuelsson for free on Sunday. Seven days later, Skeem paid $20 for Samuelsson. The waiver wire is not an efficient market; the transaction desk has kept the receipt.
Week 2 activity
- Most active: six-way tie at 2 adds each—Armothy's Revenge, Skeem, Jew Tang Clan, Porkchop Sandwiches, Father of Minnesota Twins, and Trinidad and Tobago.
- Co-winners: Owen Power and Anders Lee, 9.50 post-add points each.
- Expensive flops: Mattias Samuelsson, $20 for 1.25; Victor Olofsson, $10 for 0.00; Stuart Skinner, $7 for 0.00.
Season activity through Week 2
- Most active: Armothy's Revenge and Skeem, 5 adds each.
- Next: Jew Tang Clan, 4 adds.
- Transaction window: 27 itemized adds from September 28–October 11.
Week 2 post-add leaderboard
Unverified: Vladislav Gavrikov's $4 October 8 add appears in the transaction log, but Gavrikov was not found on Father of Minnesota Twins' Week 2 roster, so post-add production is not ranked.
Source: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey Transactions page, matchup day tabs, and player scoring. Post-add production counts games on or after the add date; pre-add games are excluded. The old full-week figures for Roslovic and Carlile are not pickup totals. One Wyld Stallyns add appeared in team totals but was not itemized in the source pull, so it is not invented here. Verified October 12, 2026.

Matchup room
Every completed week, stacked in one gloriously dense ledger.
Week 2 · Oct 5–11
Noob Noob won Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, but Armothy's Revenge's big days were bigger: 45.65 Thursday and 53.00 Saturday. Jack Eichel (31.75) and Linus Ullmark (26.70) led Armothy's Revenge; Alex DeBrincat (21.00) and Beckett Sennecke (19.75) led Noob Noob. Karel Vejmelka's 10.40-point Saturday win stayed on Noob Noob's bench.
balls and wieners hung the highest score through two weeks behind a drafted core that needed no waiver-wire help. Skeem posted 78.05 through Friday and 46.00 across the weekend. The 116.35-point margin is the season's most lopsided result.
Don't B a Drag Just B a Queen led for five days and carried a 22.00-point lead into Saturday. Johns Brother's Team answered with 75.25—the week's best single night—and closed Sunday 16.25–9.75 to win by 21.90.
John's Shitty Team did it again: the ninth-best score of the week, another win. Wyld Stallyns posted the week's second-lowest score and made 161.20 stand up. John's Shitty Team is 2–0 with the third-fewest points; both wins are officially lucky.
Father of Minnesota Twins got 77.50 points from Cale Makar, Roman Josi, Quinn Hughes, and Mikhail Sergachev, plus 35.75 from Brandon Hagel. Porkchop Sandwiches posted the fifth-best score, won the goalie battle, and still lost by 27.55.
Trinidad and Tobago used a 63.60-point Saturday to cut a 26.00-point deficit to 1.90, then managed only 9.25 on Sunday while Jew Tang Clan closed with 19.25. Andrei Svechnikov's 28.00 led the matchup in a losing effort; Nathan MacKinnon scored 24.00 for Jew Tang Clan.
Week 1 · Sep 28–Oct 4
The week's two highest scores landed in one matchup because the schedule is a criminal. Elias Pettersson erupted for 33.75, but Dylan Guenther and Leon Draisaitl answered with 28.25 apiece. Armothy's Revenge escaped by 3.25; Jew Tang Clan posted the league's second-best score and received one beautifully useless loss.
Evan Bouchard dropped 38.75—the week's best individual performance—and Connor McDavid fired back with 38.00. Trinidad and Tobago won the superstar duel by 0.75 and the actual matchup by 25.35. Don't B a Drag Just B a Queen got a 38-point masterpiece and still watched the supporting cast wander into a wood chipper.
Noob Noob's leading scorer was goaltender Lukas Dostal at 19.30, normally a sentence that precedes a wellness check. Instead, Noob Noob stacked the league's third-best score and won by 60.60. Wyld Stallyns countered with Ilya Sorokin's 23.30, then supplied the week's lowest team total as decorative scenery.
Kyle Connor led Porkchop Sandwiches with 30.00 in a comfortable 46.30-point win. Vasily Podkolzin somehow topped that with 30.75 after a $0 claim for balls and wieners, outscoring every balls and wieners draft pick. The rest of balls and wieners contributed 105.40 points of premium ambience.
Filip Hronek powered Skeem with 28.25, while Mika Zibanejad led Johns Brother's Team with 17.25—the lowest team-high in the league. Skeem won by 31.00. Johns Brother's Team produced a leading scorer who would not have cracked the top three on four other Week 1 rosters, an efficient way to make the recap write itself.
John's Shitty Team won by 4.50 behind Igor Shesterkin's matchup-best 23.80. John's Shitty Team needed every scrap: Matthew Knies scored 18.75 as the third-best performer for John's Shitty Team, already better than Father of Minnesota Twins leader Mikhail Sergachev at 17.25. A 156.80 was the week's lowest winning score, and Father of Minnesota Twins still could not clear it.
